| Cavin-Morris Gallery has been exhibiting world artists for 22 years. In both trained and untrained artists we have sought to show a spiritual and aesthetic clarity of vision that has brought many of them to critical acclaim. Though we specialize in the works of vernacular self-taught artists we continually seek to contextualize the work in its contemporary matrix. We also continue to show works by great artists from the Caribbean, especially Haiti and Jamaica. We represent the new generation of self-taught artists whose work remains authentic and visionary while representative of contemporary times. We also show European mediumistic and visionary work.
